Julia's Compositions

Julia's music is often inspired by nature, stories, and spiritual inquiry, and her compositional style reflects both contemporary and traditional influences. Her compositions have been performed in Canada and the United States. Recent collaborations include projects with DaCapo 

Chamber Choir, Choral Chameleon, That Choir, Lyrica Chamber Choir, the Tost String Quartet, and musica intima. Three of Julia's vocal compositions were featured in the Canadian Women Composers Project. Julia is an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre.
