Julia Jacklein's enthusiasm and love for teaching began when still a student herself. She has taught from her own private studio since 2004, and since then has shared her skills in the GTA and beyond as a community music teacher, performer, and composer/arranger, and accompanist. 

Julia has an MA in Composition, a Bachelor of Independent Studies specializing in Piano Education  and an ARCT in Piano Performance. She is has been an active member of the Ontario Registered Music Association since 2015.

Julia's work as a teacher, composer and artist is influenced by her own education at a Waldorf school. Building on these early creative and educational experiences, Julia uses a wide range of activities to help students expand their imaginations and better understand music. She enjoys the excitement and wonder that learners of all ages bring to her studio, and appreciates the contributions of students with all kinds of learning styles.
