Julia Jacklein has an MA in Composition, a Bachelor of Independent Studies specializing in Piano Pedagogy and Composition, and an ARCT in Piano Performance. She began working with music students as a teenager and has taught from her own studio since 2004.

Julia's work as a teacher, composer and artist is influenced by her own education at a Waldorf school. Building on these early creative and educational experiences, Julia uses a wide range of activities to help students expand their imaginations and better understand music. She enjoys the excitement and wonder that learners of all ages bring to her studio, and appreciates the contributions of students with all kinds of learning styles.
